Days 1–30: Orientation, Learning, and Observation
During the first 30 days, the AI Intern will focus on onboarding, foundational learning, and structured observation. The goal is to build context before execution.
Key Activities:
- Company onboarding and introduction to teams, tools, and workflows
- Overview of current AI initiatives, pilots, and strategic goals
- Training on responsible AI use, data privacy, and internal governance standards
- Familiarization with existing workflows in HR, operations, and service delivery
- Shadowing project leads to understand how AI opportunities are identified
- Review and summarize existing AI tools, use cases, and known limitations
- Begin documenting observations and questions related to AI adoption and impact
- Clear understanding of organizational structure and priorities
- Working knowledge of approved AI tools and current experiments
- Initial inventory of AI opportunities, risks, and open questions
- Trusted working relationship with supervisor and project stakeholders
Focus: Hands-on support, pilot participation, and value creation
In the second month, the intern transitions from observation to active contribution, applying what they’ve learned in a controlled, supported way.
Key Activities:
- Support 1–2 active AI pilots or internal experiments
- Assist in testing, documenting, or refining AI workflows
- Conduct targeted research on AI tools or workforce implications
- Help develop user guides, training materials, or adoption resources
- Track early outcomes, feedback, and lessons learned from pilots
- Participate in cross-functional discussions around automation opportunities
- Tangible contributions to at least one AI initiative
- Documented findings or recommendations shared with leadership
- Improved clarity around where AI adds value vs. risk
- Increased confidence working with AI tools in a business setting

About the Role
PEAKE Technology Partners is seeking an AI Intern to support emerging initiatives focused on artificial intelligence, automation, and workforce readiness. This internship offers hands-on experience applying AI tools in real business contexts while learning how organizations responsibly evaluate, deploy, and scale AI solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with evaluating and testing AI tools (e.g., generative AI, workflow automation, AI-assisted analytics)
- Support documentation of AI use cases, risks, and business impact
- Help design internal AI pilots (HR, service delivery, internal operations)
- Conduct basic research on AI trends, governance, and workforce impact
- Support development of AI training materials and adoption resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities
- How AI is applied in a regulated, client-facing business environment
- Real-world AI governance, risk assessment, and ethical considerations
- Change management and communication around AI adoption
- Translating AI capability into operational and workforce outcomes
Required:
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in:
- Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, HRD, Psychology, Business, or related field
- Strong curiosity about AI and automation (experience level can vary)
- Ability to explain complex ideas clearly in writing
- Comfortable experimenting with new tools and learning independently
- Experience with tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar
- Basic understanding of AI concepts (LLMs, automation, prompt design)
- Interest in ethics, workforce impact, or organizational change
